We want to be good stewards of your time, resources, and patience; therefore, we do everything we can to ensure your remodel is completed in the quoted time given by the project manager. Although each project is unique, from the signing of your contract and before production, we estimate the following time frames:

• Whole house: 10-16 weeks
• Bathroom: 4-6 weeks
• Full kitchen: 6-8 weeks
• Outdoor: 5-7 weeks
• Home Addition: 120-150 days for permitting and production

As with all remodeling projects, each home is unique and may present its own challenges. Also, product availability from the manufacturer could affect your timeline. However, we respect your time and resources and work with you on an individual basis to keep our projected timeline.

We understand that a remodel disrupts your everyday flow of life; therefore, our recommendation is to always find other accommodations during your remodel. This is to safeguard you and your family by eliminating any potential risks. If this is not possible, we will work with you. 

Since we are a full-service general contractor offering custom designs, each project is unique to meet the wants and needs of our individual clients. We approach all projects on a case-by-case basis with no set pricing in order to meet the specific needs of your project. Material costs for all projects are based on market standards which may vary based on supply and demand.

You will first meet with a GCS Remodel estimator at your home to discuss your future project. After the design contract is signed and materials selections have been made, a project manager will meet with you at your home to go through the scope of work. Once work begins, you should expect our GCS Remodel field staff and other subcontractors such as plumbers, electricians, and drywall specialists to be on-site regularly until project completion.

Any materials or products not selected through our approved vendors cannot receive our guaranteed one-year labor warranty. For example, if a homeowner buys a bathroom vanity at a local hardware store and it starts leaking a few months after installation, it would be up to the homeowner to call someone else for repairs. We provide an extensive selection of materials and products to meet your style needs, and these vendors are approved by GCS Remodel for their quality. 

Generally speaking, project payments are conducted on a draft schedule once certain project milestones are completed. Typically, an initial deposit for materials is made, followed by three to five subsequent withdrawals. It is important to be aware that if a homeowner signs a contract and moves forward, but then decides to no longer use our services, the design plans created by an engineer must be paid for (and retained by the homeowner for future use) by the client. If you continue to move forward with Green for your remodel, we absorb the cost of the plans in your total project cost.

Upon completion, you and your project manager will do an extensive walkthrough of your remodeled area, giving you peace of mind that all contracted tasks were completed and tie up any loose ends.  As a final thank you, your project manager will meet with you one last time at your home to give you a completion package that includes all product warranty information, contracts, and GCS Remodel’s labor warranty information. 

We provide homeowners with a remodel estimate once there is a signed contract. This helps us ensure our team is fully focused on projects which we know are progressing. In certain limited situations, we will perform a pre-purchase inspection.  Typically, our clients have already secured funding and are ready to begin the process of remodeling their homes.

Yes. Our engineer will come to your home to discuss the scope of work you are wanting and create a design plan. These plans are paid for in advance, and you are able to take them with you if you decide to go with a different contractor.
